As a personal trainer, I get to work with lots of great people. All of whom impact my life more than they know. This blog is for them.
In this blog, I want to share with you some of the things I’ve learned over the last 10 years working as a personal trainer. More specifically, I want to encourage you to be the best you can be and live the healthiest life possible. Living our healthiest life means always questioning what we “know” is healthy and finding out for ourselves what healthy feels like.
In today’s world, most of us are fat, lacking energy, depressed, stressed to the max, and looking for a way out of that life and into a healthy one where we look, feel, and perform better than we can imagine. But, nothing will ever change if nothing ever changes.
I want to be part of that change. I want to be there to help you figure out what the right changes are for you so you can be fit, happy, and feel
I know, I know… you’ve tried so many different things to improve your health and it was either to hard to maintain or flat out didn’t work or made things even worse. I’ve been there, too. And I know lots of people who’ve been there, too. The past is gone, the future is uncertain, but today is a gift. What you choose to do with today will greatly impact your health in more ways than you can count right now.
Close your eyes (wait…keep reading…), take a deep breath, and imagine what it feels like to be living your healthiest life. What do you look like? Are you well rested, relaxed, energized, focused, happy, optimistic…? What tasks are easier/more enjoyable? What are you able to accomplish that you never could before? (If you can’t imagine yourself as fitter/stronger/healthier, then think of someone who is that you could model)
Take a mental picture of that life and decide whether or not it would be worth it to make some changes to be living that life.
Yes, YES, it IS worth it!
Ask yourself some hard questions: Is it worth it to give up processed foods to have more energy? Is it worth it to go to bed earlier to have a slimmer waist line? Is it worth it to give up TV to have time to exercise? Is it worth it to cut down on going out to eat so you can afford and healthier foods?
Is change hard? Heck yes!
Is it worth it? I promise, it is!
Maybe you know of some things you need to change, maybe you don’t know where to start, maybe you’ve already made some changes and are looking for a more complete picture of health and fitness. Either way, it’s time to take action. Let’s do this together!
Are you in?
Here’s to your healthiest life,
